An exceptional muse who influenced the work of authors Henry Miller & Anaïs Nin.
These visuals are inspired by the enigmatic, layered essence of June Miller.
In the film June’s character is regarded as forceful and witty while remaining demure. Taken along these lines, I wanted to explore the imagination of what Henry sees when he looks at June. Photographed as snapshots of their honeymoon, the viewer encounters an imaginative spread — does the ocean necessarily have to be blue, or can memory paint it differently?
